What’s that? It’s Tunes with Tuesday? Why yes, so it is!

Not sure about you, but the last week has gone incredibly fast here in writing land. Hope you are all well!

This week’s song is Waiting Outside The Lines, by young singer Greyson Chance. Greyson is only 15 years old and is an already a popular American singer and songwriter. Did I mention he also plays piano?

The song is about taking risks to reach your goals. We do have to take chances, as Greyson says, and seize the day. Start living, not just getting through the day. Make today a fantastic one and just go for it – who knows what you could really accomplish if you do!

Here are a few of my favorite lines from the song:

Instead of just sitting around

And looking down on tomorrow

You gotta get your feet off the ground

The Time is now

This song from 2010 was Greyson Chance’s first single. Personally, I think good music is timeless 🙂 Meanwhile, Greyson continues to grow in height and in talent.

This is christyb saying let’s get outside the lines and start dancing!

Oh! Thank-you Karen for sharing the post and that’s AWESOME you downloaded the song too. I regularly listen to it. Check out his rendition of Lady GaGa’s Paparazzi as well – very cool how he changes the melody 🙂

Wow, what talent and so young. Great voice and it’s refreshing to hear a ‘young singer’ who has lyrics that actually mean something. I won’t mention any names, but I think we have all heard of THE B……!
