Talk You Down With Music

Today is Tunes with Tuesday!

Have your days been flying by? They certainly are going quickly here in Victoria. BC. I am writing, seeing family, gong for walks… and smiling, smiling so often!

I remember a time when I barely smiled. I didn’t think I deserved to smile. I thought I would never be happy again. Notice that I did not say “might”. No part of me was uncertain.

There was darkness.

https://poeticparfait.wordpress.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wordpress/img/trans.gifThe song this week is Talk You Down, sung by The Script.

The lyrics remind me of the many times my parents and close friends were there for me; they came to my rescue emotionally and physically when I needed them. Each person offered a different piece of the caring package and today I am putting together the frame.

I send a thank-you to everyone who helped me through the dark time. I say thank-you to you, my friends here at Poetic Parfait, as well. You help me follow a path toward the sun and enrich my heart on a daily basis.

This is christyb extending my arms for a hug.

Huge incoming hugs for Christy! Loved this tune – and while I’m so sorry you had to go through dark times, I’m so grateful to your family and friends for being there to help you when you really needed them. ((((((Hugs!!!))))) Love and more hugs, Julie 🙂 xoxox

Thank-you, Julie. I really do not know where I would be today if I did not have my parents’ support. Well maybe I get a sense, but it’s not a place my mind wants to go to lol. Hugs for you too, my lovely friend! xx

You deserve all the happiness in the world!
The video is not available for me to watch in my country, but I’m sure I would have liked it.

What a beautiful photograph! Like you, I have been going on more walks these days as Spring is nearing (although the snow storms persist, alas!) and it really does bring a smile to one’s face 🙂 Wonderful post!

Beautiful….loved your post and great music, it brought tears to my eyes, thinking of you in your dark place. I believe strongly in 3 little words: “Love, Live, Laugh”….sounds like you have found them. Keep sharing yourself, we all treasure you. LOL.

You spread smiles everywhere I see you, Christy, so I’m very glad you had family and friend support to bring you out of the darkness, too…you deserve every helping of happiness, as I am truly glad to have met you, even if it’s on this quirky planet of WP! Sending hugs, love and blessings your way! xo
