Well, in the case of this post’s title, the “F” word is a good thing! I am sending a big thank-you to Cat at Fervour & Forever for having me over to her passion-filled site today. What an honor.

Please head over to Passion Feature 10: Christy Birmingham!!! to see Cat’s lovely words. Just click the link in the previous sentence to get there. Easy!

She interviews me and reviews my book Pathways to Illumination. How wonderful to get another positive review for the poetry collection. I have not published many of the poems on Poetic Parfait that are in the book, so it’s great to get the feedback on the exclusive content. I am very proud of the message behind the book, about having the strength to heal from abuse and depression.

This is christyb, sending you kindness to wrap around you when you need it.

    Cat & Christy;

    Wow, way to go canadians…

    Such a beautiful post….

    I believe you are right cat, Christy´s legacy: ripples wherever she goes ….I am still amazed by her. Well done Bunny … I am already addicted to you, I´d better slow it down

    What I love about Christ´s words above is when she speaks “about a purpose that drives her”, “encouraging people”, “spreading light through the darkness” and “empowering women”!!!.

    Wow I will try once more to sign in Paypal to get her book… Still couldn´t sign in 😦

    My dearest Young ladies, blessings from Argentina;

    Love them Both, Christy & Cat; XOXO

        Christy,

        All is good, thanks for following up through the getting book process…

        I started reading “Pathways to Illumination” yesterday…

        And felt a kind of regret, something similar to an inner pain.

        I think that man doesn´t worth it, if it´s true he has been part of your life… maybe you´ll tell me more someday…

        You know that the weight of the bad conscience -even to the people who apparently does not experience it- is like a knife that reaches deep into chest on cold nights. well that is a fact, the the punishment comes from inner self…

        I am expecting to know how this young brave woman (fictional or biographical?) evolves and find the way out to the light…

        I know she will step forward, and will rise from the ashes like a phoenix. I am looking forward to seeing like “herself, today”. If I didn´t already.

        Sending you tons of Love, Aquileana 😉

          Amalia,
          I am so glad you were able to get the book! I am happy to be able to share my work with you and your special mind. While some of the poems are told from experiences, some are about wordplay and creativity. It is the tale of a woman who rises up and begins to enjoy life again x Hope is so strong for her … and for YOU, my beautiful friend 🙂

          Thanks for your sweet words…
          It is awesome that you can turn sorrow & depression into beautiful words: yes, meaning: poetry!…. Nice.

          I´ll let you know my further impressions on “Pathways”…

          Love XX;

          Aquileana 🙂

    What a great interview (from Christy) and comments (from Cat). Accolades to you both on hitting a home run on Christy’s open heart so wanting to help others with the wisdom she has gained through her own life experiences.. Her book is a read to be treasured by many. Bravo!
