Spring Cleaning of Poetic Parfait

Time for Parfait! Poetic Parfait, to be exact.

It’s time for spring cleaning and I’ve revamped the blog. Thoughts? Feel free to chime in!

Also, I’ve put together a new poem. It’s titled “Let’s See This Through.”

Let’s See This Through

Let’s count down the steps

Until we get to grab that guitar and strum –

I’ll let you start playing it first, and

Then we can meet up at the chorus.

It’s going to be easy to get through the song

Because we are here to help one another.

And, if you forget any notes

Then I am here to assist,

With a musical smile

Or two

And we’ll see it through

To the next chorus together.

Bill, I actually take it as a compliment that you don’t notice the new layout – that means it suits the site 🙂 Great to have you here and thanks for the nice words on the poem too!

    Hello Christy…

Happy spring day with the new theme and all…

Your poem is lovely… I enjoyed the way you played with the idea of “meeting up at the chorus” and “seeing through the next chorus together”… Very sweet.

Thanks for sharing and many hugs , Aquileana 🙂

That is a wonderful poem, Christy! And Poetic Parfait looks awesome. I like the soft lavender-blue background color and the crispness of the new look. And as always, your uplifting messages are the best!

Love the new soft updated look. I don’t know why…but as I read your poem …I not knowingly felt the words were being sung with guitar accompaniment. Shows you what the power of ‘visual’ is on me!

Like the new look a great deal, clean and fresh. The poem, though I am not much in the mood right now for sweet it was that and it put me in mind of how marvelous love, especially when it is kind, can be.

Your poem is just what I needed for this frustrating and rainy Monday. You’ve raised my spirits dramatically. The spring cleaning job looks great! 🙂

Christy, I loved your poem! But bad news for you: your current theme is outdated and not responsive. I’d suggest choosing another theme (one that is responsive) and then testing your site out using http://mattkersley.com/responsive/ once your new theme is activated.

    I hope this helps!

Keep writing beautiful poems, too. 😉
