Pathways to Illumination

When I read this review for “Pathways to Illumination,” I think my heart skipped a beat! Thank you to Resa of Graffiti Lux and Murals for the beautiful artistic review of my book ♥

Graffiti Lux and Murals

Christy Birmingham of Poetic Parfait fame wrote this book of poems.

Yet, it’s more than a collection of poetry. It is clearly a journey, a journey that begins in pain.

Path #1

As she took me along her travails using metaphor to an exquisite height, I became enlightened. The rhythms of her near and not rhymes rocked me in their arms.

Her pondering did not pander. Rather, I looked out upon her reality with a gentle concern .

In the end, I was rewarded with the sense of being freely born, and although not into a perfect ending, into a sense of dignity, positive energy and wisdom.

The final poem in Christy’s book is titled “What If”. Therefore, I ask, “what if you read it?” Well, if you do, you will be inspired, too!

Where would we be without our supporters? Beautiful review and well-deserved. Bask in the glow for a few more minutes and then get to work creating more beauty. 🙂

Hugs on this miserable rainy day in Olympia

Hehe Bill, you’re so right. It’s over to the other manuscript and client projects today. Can’t bask in the glow too long! Thanks for the nice words 🙂 Oh yes it’s raining so much here in BC too, with the forecast to be the same for tomorrow. Stay dry inside! Hugs

Hi Swetank, thanks! The photos of the murals are taken by Resa, with the original artists of those artworks listed underneath the photos on Resa’s original post. They’re her unique way of highlighting the emotions the book conveyed to her 🙂 I love her originality!
