Thank you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Blogging Award Ceremony Fun

Thank you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Very Inspiring Blogger Award, x 2!

Hello and welcome to the day’s blogging award ceremony. I would like to call to the stage a group of talented bloggers who are deserve the awards I am bestowing on them. I would like to – Wait, the microphone isn’t even on? Oh dear, um, well…

Hi everyone! I am so honored to have received two blogging awards recently and I want to say thank you and to award some wonderful nominees today too! I have received the Very Inspiring Blogger Award two times! Wow, what an honor to receive it from both Aquileana of La Audacia de Aquiles and from Prakash Hegade of Its PH.

The Rules for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Here are the rules for accepting the Very Inspiring Blogger Award:

  1. The nominee shall display the respective logo on her/his blog and link to the blogger that has nominated her/him.
  2. The nominee shall nominate 15 bloggers (more or less) that she/he admires, by linking to their blogs and informing them about the nomination.
  3. The nominee has to answer these seven 7 questions:

1. Who is your favorite public figure?

I am taking a personal interpretation of “public figure” here and saying my Mom. She is such a strong woman and so beautiful inside and out.

2. What do you like most?

Well, words. I like reading them, writing them (typing and handwriting). It’s a love affair!

3. Do you follow trends?

I rarely follow fashion trends. I tend to buy classic items that I can wear one year to the next and then I add in trendy accessories to create new-ish outfits. Trends of any kind are fleeting so I just pay attention to what I feel comfortable doing and if it’s trendy at the time then so be it.

4. What do you do when someone gets angry?

Follow my instincts. Usually that means walking away or closing out of the computer screen (depending if it’s in person or not). I do my best not to get upset over trivial things as that’s not good for my health.

5. What have you loved most?

My independence over the last few years. I treasure it.

6. Do you have causes?

I am a passionate women’s rights activist. I pursue that on my other site When Women Inspire.

7. What quality do you admire most?

Sensibility. As Herbert Read once said, “Art is pattern informed by sensibility.”

Nominees for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award

The nominees I choose for this special blogging award are:

xo Christy

    Way to go, Christy…
    Some points worth highlighting
-So nice that you chose your mom above here … I have chosen Pope Francis, but mainly because he is a peace maker and … argentine!
-You certainly follow your instincts when it comes to arguments, don´t you 😛 Yes!… As to
this sentence closing out of the computer screen (depending if it’s in person or not), I guess you mean if it is a person or an article, am I right?
-And by the way… It seems a certain someone has a crush on words… Well, words. It’s a love affair!
I love reading your answers, congrats on the award and thanks for linking back to my blog.
Many hugs to my North bright ⭐ Aquileana 😀

Hehe my crush on words is true but I do have a BGP in Argentina that keeps me smiling 🙂 I saw you had chosen Pope Francis and I thought that impressive. You are a proud Argentine! Thank you again for the award and for stopping by with your beautiful presence here. Sending my South Smiling Star a big hug! xo

lol! You got me to chuckle at a microphone isn’t on joke, good job!

Good choice picking your mom! I think picking words is cheating and I love it! I’m with you on trends. (except mines more like what’s comfy and clean, but I like the idea of be classically trendy)

I enjoyed learning more about you. 🙂

Congratulations Christy! I am speechless with how you impress me every day by just being YOU. Over the last few years you have grown & shared yourself & become such a beautiful person full of strength, hope and goals. If you were to look up the word ‘treasure’ in the dictionary…your picture should be beside it. LOL
